How to Reuse & Recycle our Packaging

ONLINE SHOPPING IS SO EASY AND CONVENIENT (WE CAN DO IT ON THE SOFA IN OUR PJ'S) BUT IT CAN HAVE ENVIRONMENTAL COSTS WHEN WE CONSIDER THE TYPE OF PACKAGING USED AND HOW THIS GETS DISCARDED TO LANDFILL AS SOON AS WE HAVE OPENED OUR PACKAGES. HERE AT ARTEMIS, WE ARE TAKING STEPS TO BECOME A MORE ECO-CONSCIOUS BRAND AND WE USE SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING WHERE POSSIBLE.

What is Sustainable Packaging? In a nutshell, Sustainable packaging is using materials to pack products which are eco-friendly and reduce the environmental impact and ecological footprint. Here at Artemis, we are always thinking about how to make our brand as eco-friendly as we can. To do this, we not only think about the materials we use to make the jewellery, but also the materials that we use to package our jewellery items when we send them to you. How to Reuse & Recycle our Packaging With every order that we send your way we include a cute little jewellery pouch which can be reused to store your jewellery pieces. These little pouches can easily store your jewellery when you are on the go and to make sure that they don’t get scratched! When we package your orders, we always use recyclable materials where possible and we try to reduce as much waste as we can by packaging your orders very minimally. You can recycle most of our envelopes and cardboard boxes that we send your orders in. Why is this so important? We think it’s super important for you to know what measures your favourite brands are taking when it comes to becoming more eco-friendly, so ask your favourite brands and local stores! Although we are not an entirely sustainable brand just yet, we are well on our way. We are currently offsetting our carbon emissions, using recyclable and reusable packaging materials and sourcing our jewellery materials locally! Our aim is to become as eco-friendly as possible in the near future, and we can’t wait to share our journey with you!
